The Ministry of Religious Affairs held a Tahlil Ceremony, specifically for Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien; Al-Marhumah Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Damit; and Al-Marhum His Royal Highness Prince Haji 'Abdul 'Azim. The event took place at the Royal Mausoleum, 5th February afternoon.

In attendance was Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Awang Haji Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Awang Haji Othman, Minister of Religious Affairs. Over 200 officers and staff of the Ministry of Religious Affairs and departments under it attended the event. It is part of the ministry's annual religious events.
